From having the most versatile cargo box to its advanced materials and no-compromise approach to trucking, the all-new 2022 Ford Maverick has been designed to set a standard as the ultimate reference point for the next generation of small trucks.

The vehicle blends capability, performance, and convenience with features never before offered in the compact pickup truck segment. If you’re interested in a compact truck that makes work more productive and enjoyable, we encourage you to visit our showroom at Group 1 Ford of Kennesaw, Kennesaw, GA, for more information on the 2022 Ford Maverick and how much the truck can tow.

2022 Maverick Towing Capacity: Small Truck, Mighty Capabilities
Super-strong, versatile, and intelligent, the 2022 Ford Maverick combines great adaptability with technologies designed to provide customers with an exceptional towing experience.

The Maverick has a maximum towing capacity of 4,000 pounds when optioned with the 250-hp turbocharged inline-four engine power and 4K Tow package. When powered by its gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain, the truck can carry 2,000 pounds of stuff, half the max towing capacity.

2022 Ford Maverick Maximum Payload: A Colossal Power Sleeps Beneath The Robust Build
The feature-laden Ford Maverick has a payload capacity of 1,500 pounds, including passengers and cargo, and a 4.5-foot bed that can expand to a six-foot floor with the tailgate down.

Speaking of the tailgate, the feature provides owners of the 2022 Maverick with greater flexibility. Drivers can decide to keep the tailgate fully closed, open it all the way down, or lock it in a mid-position by repositioning the support cables on the sides.

Strong, Innovative Engine Options
The 2022 Ford Maverick sets the course for the next generation of Ford Trucks with robust engines, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid, the first-ever on a pickup truck, and a more powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder.

The hybrid powertrain makes 191 combined horsepower, 155 lb-ft of torque, and a standard front-wheel-drive system, while the EcoBoost engine generates 250 horses and 277 lb-ft of torque. The EcoBoost is available in front-wheel drive and all-wheel-drive options.

The EPA has yet to release official fuel economy estimates for the all-new Maverick. However, Ford suggests the hybrid-equipped Maverick can achieve 40 mpg fuel economy in the city.

Whether you’re excited about its innovative hybrid powertrain, impressive payload and towing capacity, next-generation technologies, or innovative cargo bed, the 2022 Ford Maverick won’t disappoint.
